It appears that Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has become way more comfortable in Hollywood than in the recording studio. Last year he made headlines for his dramatic weight loss to star in Things Fall Apart, and was recently  spotted with an s- curl while filming Freelancers and clinking glasses with Bruce Willis in The Setup. Now it’s reported that he has signed on to co-star in Stephen Sommers’ adaptation of Dean Koontz’s bestselling novel,  Odd Thomas.

50 Cent, who was discovered by the late Jam Master Jay, will play a blind DJ named Shamus Cocobolo who helps the protagonist expose a Satanic plot. Odd Thomas is story similar to The Sixth Sense where a young man has the ability to see and communicate with the dead.
