Janet Jackson posted a 17-second video on Memorial Day thanking fans for making her “American Idol” performance the number one clip on iTunes.
“That is so cool, it’s really special. Thank you to all of you for making it happen and I couldn’t have done it without you,” she says. [Scroll down to watch.]
The video of Jackson’s surprise appearance, which included performances of “Again,” “Nasty” and her latest single “Nothing,” was watched by nearly 25 million at press time.
As previously reported, Jackson is considering embarking on a tour after the positive reaction to the performance.
