When “The Real Housewives of Miami” premieres on Tuesday, February 22nd, fans of Bravo’s “Housewives” franchise can expect more of the same with some extra spice. Like other casts, the majority of the “Housewives” aren’t actual housewives or even wives for that matter. Nevertheless, the Miami edition has the potential to be highly entertaining because of the two basketball wives included in the cast.

Larsa Pippen and Cristy Rice aren’t VH1 “Basketball Wives,” but they are both linked to former NBA ballers. Larsa is married to former Chicago Bull Scottie Pippen, the mother of four and has been described as a “snarky Lebanese beauty.” Her good buddy Cristy Rice hails from Miami and is divorced from former Miami Heat player Glen Rice. In addition to raising her three children, Cristy owns and runs her own clothing store.

“The Real Housewives Of Atlanta” season 1 cast member DeShawn Snow was the first and the latest basketball wife to be featured in the franchise. Fortunately, the Miami basketball wives seem to be more engaging onscreen.

Take a look at Larsa and Cristy in the video below, and find out more about the “The Real Housewives of Miami” cast when the show debuts on February 22nd on Bravo at 10 pm.
