Two Cleveland Ohio woman are suing a fertility clinic in the Chicago area, after she learned that she was inseminated with sperm from a black donor and not the white donor she had requested.  Stated by Jennifer Cramblett in the article by The Associated Press(AP) after the excitement of birth was replaced with anger “They took a personal choice, a personal decision and took it on themselves to make that choice for us out of pure negligence.”

Jennifer Cramblett and her 29- year-old partner, Amanda Zinkon love their now 2- year-old daughter but they are worried about raising her in a close minded Caucasian community. Cramblett states she already experience racism from with-in her community because of her choice of her life partners sex.

Cramblett is looking for a minimum of $50,000 in damages.  As stated in the article by AP, her attorney, Tim Misny, said some of the compensation would pay for ongoing counseling.
